Week beginning 19th Sept

This week we have continued working with The Gruffalo written by Julia Donaldson. We have been writing about our favourite part of the story and sequencing pictures. We have continued to talk about being safe online and have reminded the children to always ask before using the school laptops or Ipads and to tell an adult straight away if they see something that they are unsure of or something they do not like. In maths this week we have been learning about data collection. We found out what the most and least common eye colours were and made a human bar chart and then an ICT bar chart to show our findings. Our regular PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday- please make sure your child has a full PE kit in school at all times as this does sometimes change. If your child is taking part in an after school club please return it the following morning or send them in some extra clothes. Dates for the diary- Thursday 29th September is our Open Afternoon Wednesday 5th October Year 1 trip to Tide & Time Museum in Great Yarmouth (pirate dress can be worn) Friday 7th October dress up as a pirate
