Week beginning 20th November

This week in English we have been reading the traditional tale Jack and the Beanstalk. The children have listened to different versions of the story, acted the story out, sequenced the story using First, Next and Then and the children have also written their version of the story using these words. Is your child able to retell the story to you?

In maths this week we have been quartering- sharing shapes in to four equal parts. As part of your home learning you could practice cutting and sharing food into four equal parts.

We were really lucky this week to have Ben Langley from Theatre Royal Norwich in school. He told the children the traditional tale of Sleeping Beauty which the children (and adults!!) loved!

Please return the slips for the theatre trip to you class Teacher or Teaching Assistant by Monday 27th. Please remember to write your child's name at the top!!

Please please please can we remind you all to label every item of clothing as we are spending a lot of time trying to sort out missing items. We have also had lots of items go missing so please can we ask you to check your jumpers and cardigans. Thank you!
