A: Swordfish 😁
This week we have still been using the book The Treasure of Pirate Frank. We have been writing simple directions to go with our own treasure maps.
The children have been halving shapes in maths. We have been drawing, folding and painting!
There's a great game to play here: snappy maths
Lindsay has been teaching us about the different sounds that we can make with percussion instruments.
Did you shake, rattle or roll? (or something else?)
In PE the children have been working on their throwing skills by aiming at a target. We used our maths skills to help us keep the scores!
The last day of half term is Wednesday 17th October and we are back in school on Monday 29th October.
On October 30th, it is our next reading event. It will be from 9.00-9.30. We hope to see you there!
As always, if you have any questions or comments then do come and speak to one of the Year One Team. 😊
