week beginning 21 March 2016
This week we have been reading The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt.
The children practised their debating skills to help them decide whether yellow crayon or orange crayon should be the sun.
They then designed their own crayon and wrote about the things the crayon liked to do as well as the things that made it sad. They then applied all of their skills to their end of term assessment - we really enjoyed reading their stories!
In maths we have been recapping counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and writing numbers.
Have an good Easter and we will see you when school restarts on 11th April.
