Week ending 14.11.14
What have we been doing in English?
Last week we continued looking at the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We drew out our story maps and practised writing our sentences which helped to write our stories at the end of the week.
What have we been doing in Maths?
Last week we began to look at measuring. We did lots of measuring using cubes and other objects comparing the longest and shortest. We measured items around the classroom, leaves and even our feet!
What have we been doing in Topic?
Our topic for this term is Ourselves. Last week we learnt about the life and work of Florence Nightingale- a truly significant historical figure who made radical changes to nursing.
