A Christmas Quacker! 😃
Welcome to the Year One blog, we are in full festive swing. In English the children have been listening to different versions of the Nativity story. The children have been using a range of resources to help them recall and understand the main events. These include puppets, play sets, colouring and building models. They have drawn a story map to help them remember who the characters are and what order the events happened in. There is a lovely version of the Nativity story on cbeebies.
In maths, the children have been busy doing some assessments to show all of their new learning since September. They have also enjoyed doing activities in their Christmas maths busy books.
Remember to wear your "Christmassy" jumpers tomorrow (Friday 14th) and bring your £1.
School starts again after the holidays on January 3rd 2019.
