Week beginning 6th February
Wow- we can't believe that half term is here already! The children have all worked really hard this half term and we are really impressed with the progress they are making.
The children had a great day out at Norwich Castle Museum yesterday. They got to explore the castle keep, handle lots of objects which were used in and around the castle and they all designed and made their own pennant flag.
In English this week we have been reading the traditional tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have been acting out the story, talking about the beginning, middle and end and today they became authors and wrote a short version of the story. We look forward to showing you these at parent teacher interviews.
This half term we ask that you read as regularly as you can to help the children become fluent and we have also sent home some word reading homework. We hope the children all enjoy a well earned rest and we look forward to seeing you all back on Monday 20th February for International Week.
Dates for the diary:
Parent teacher interviews Tuesday 21st 430pm onwards (Mrs Elis & Mrs Prophet)
