Week beginning 5.12.2016
This week the children have continued completing maths and phonic assessments. We haven't had time to read with all of the children but please continue to read regularly at home.
In English we have been reading the Christmas Nativity. We have been sequencing the story, creating a story map and we will be doing some writing to retell the story of how baby Jesus was born.
In maths we have been doing lots of number work- simple addition and subtraction and lots of counting.
We hope to see you all next Wednesday afternoon for our Open Afternoon in the classrooms from 2pm-330pm. We will be asking all adults to leave the classroom for a short time just before 3pm so we can get all of the children ready to go home- we appreciate your co-operation with this.
Dates for the diary-
