Week beginning 7.11.2016

This week in English we have continued to look at the story of The Gingerbread Man. We have been sequencing pictures from the story and writing simple sentences to go with these remembering capital letters, fingers spaces and full stops. We have also been learning about question marks. We have been asking and then writing different questions to find out more information about the Gingerbread man. In maths we have been learning about time. We have talked about the different ways we can measure time including years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds. We have also made a clock and talked about the different features. In D&T we will be making our pirate ship flags which we designed last week. On Monday the library van will be visiting in the morning so please send any books back and if you want your child to visit the van they must bring their library card in.
